Plant Community Type (PCT) % estimates helps inform a wide range of conservation, regulation and restoration programs across NSW.
This report outlines how PCT % cleared estimates were calculated for Eastern NSW, as well as a rigorous review by an independent expert peer review panel. For the NSW Biodiversity Offsets Scheme, the PCT % cleared calculation was quantitatively adjusted to account for condition, isolated trees and paddock trees.
