Upper Hunter air quality in 2018 was generally good to fair, although particle levels increased throughout the region due to extended dry periods and increasing drought in New South Wales. Particle levels at Muswellbrook and Singleton were within national benchmarks 96% and 97% of days during 2018, respectively.
