BioBanking Funds are invested within New South Wales Treasury Corporation's (TCorp) Hour-Glass Investment Facilities in three investment options: Cash Facility, Medium Term Growth Facility and Long Term Growth Facility. An operating account is also held with Westpac to receive deposits and make payments.

30 June 2017

As at 30 June 2017, the total funds held within the Biobanking Trust Fund were $60,775,564.58. This includes funds in both TCorp and Westpac.

For the quarter ending 30 June 2017, $4,464,065.05 was deposited into the fund, $131,030.10 was awaiting deposit and $477,399.10 was withdrawn from the fund.

Investment performance for the quarter in each of the Investment Management Fund was as follows:

For the quarter ending 30 June 2017, there was a net gain on investment of $775,612.13.

31 March 2017

As at 31 March 2017, the total funds held within the Biobanking Trust Fund were $55,882,256.40. This includes funds in both TCorp and Westpac.

For the quarter ending 31 March 2017, $66,000 was deposited into the fund, and $792,166.82 was withdrawn from the fund.

Investment performance for the quarter in each of the Investment Management Fund was as follows:

For the quarter ending 31 March 2017, there was a net gain on investment of $897,000.26.

31 December 2016

As at 31 December 2016, the total funds held within the Biobanking Trust Fund were $55,711,422.97. This includes funds in both TCorp and Westpac.

For the quarter ending 31 December 2016, $28,500 was deposited into the fund, and $1,733,855.96 was withdrawn from the fund.

Investment performance for the quarter in each of the Investment Management Fund was as follows:

Cash Fund – returned 0.47% (annual performance 2.46% pa)
Medium Term Growth Fund – returned 1.60% (annual performance 4.61% pa)
Long Term Growth Fund – returned 4.15% (annual performance 7.33% pa).

For the quarter ending 31 December 2016, there was a net gain on investment of $1,356,612.52.

As at 30 September 2016, the total funds held within the Biobanking Trust Fund were $56,060,166.41. This includes funds in both TCorp and Westpac.

For the quarter ending 30 September 2016, $5,101,754.33 was deposited into the fund, and $691,506.83 was withdrawn from the fund.

Investment performance for the quarter in each of the Hour Glass facilities was as follows:
