NSW Heritage Grant funding aims to recognise and protect the state's most significant heritage places and value to ensure future generations can enjoy them.

Major works projects $ for $, $40,000 - $150,000 over two years, maximum $75,000 per year Closed
Emergency works projects Grants of $10,000 Open
Heritage reports Grants of $10,000 Closed
Local heritage places grants Grants of up to $12,000 Closed
Local government heritage advisors Grants of up to $10,000 Closed
Local government heritage planning studies Grants of $10,000 Closed
Aboriginal heritage places projects Grants from $20,000 - $70,000 Closed
Community, youth and seniors heritage projects Grants up to $150,000 over two years, maximum $75,000 per year Closed

Common selection criteria for all projects

Funding is targeted to projects that demonstrate:

  • sustainable long-term heritage benefits
  • public benefit and enjoyment, community leadership
  • innovation
  • capacity and commitment to undertake and complete the project.
