Draft standards and best practice guidelines for vapour recovery at petrol service stations
OEH is proposing changes to the vapour recovery guidelines. These changes are contained in Draft standards and best practice guidelines for vapour recovery at petrol service stations. To download the document in pdf format, see the right-hand side of the screen.
The changes include:
- clarifying the standard required for pressure vacuum relief valves (Section 5.1.3 of draft guidelines)
- fine tuning a self-test for automatic pressure monitoring systems (Section 6.1 of draft guidelines)
- referring to the National standard for the storage and handling of workplace dangerous goods (Appendix 2 of draft guidelines)
- updating references to the governing Regulation clause numbers (throughout document).
