The 2011 Green Globe Award winners were announced at a gala award ceremony hosted by the Hon. Robyn Parker MP Minister for the Environment on Tuesday 26 July 2011.

2011 Green Globe Award winners announced!

The Award winners were decided by an independent panel of experts for their demonstration of outstanding leadership, innovation and vision for a sustainable New South Wales.

The 2011 winners represent NSW small and large business, public sector and not-for-profit organisations, as well as individuals.

2011 Green Globe Awards

The Green Globe Awards are the leading environmental awards in New South Wales, recognising the achievements of business, government, community and individuals.

In 2011 a record number of nominations were received in the twelve year history of the Awards.

A short list of 60 finalists was announced in early July, representing the top ranking nominations for the 2011 Awards.

A total of 14 Green Globe Awards were presented in 2011. Thirteen Award categories were open for public nomination. The 14th category is decided by the judges and awarded to the best overall entry, the Premier's Award for Sustainability Excellence.
