Other NSW environmental legislation
Many other Acts, not administered by DECC, also relate to aspects of the environment. DECC has responsibilities and functions under a number of these Acts which are administered by other Government departments. Some of these include the Department of Planning, the Department of Water and Energy, the Department of Lands and the NSW Rural Fire Service.
