Kosciuszko National Park - plan of management

The public exhibition period for the draft plan of management for Kosciuszko National Park closed on 3 September 2004. During the exhibition period, the NPWS received over 11,500 submissions from members of the public. The NPWS reviewed all the submissions and prepared a report detailing the results of the submission analysis.
The amended plan, submissions received during the period of public exhibition and the submission report prepared by the NPWS were referred to the regional advisory committees for their consideration, and were referred to the National Parks and Wildlife Advisory Council for their consideration and advice to the Minister for the Environment.
