Horse riding in national parks

Horse riding is a popular recreational activity that has strong cultural associations for many Australians.

Many national parks are on land where horse riding occurred for over a century and a half. There are currently over 110 national parks across New South Wales where people can enjoy horse riding. The NSW Government is committed to increasing the level of access to allow horse riders the opportunity to experience a wider range of national parks.
