The Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) has prepared a draft master plan for the Middle Head and Georges Head precincts of Sydney Harbour National Park.

The draft master plan was on public exhibition from Thursday 3 November 2016 to Friday 16 December 2016.

The public exhibition period is now closed.

Submissions will be considered by OEH and the consultants, Environmental Partnerships, during preparation of the final master plan. The master plan will be posted on this site when completed, together with a summary of the submissions received.

Middle Head management plan

The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust is reviewing its management plan for Trust-managed lands at Middle Head, providing an opportunity for the two organisations to work together to ensure that the planning processes complement and inform one another.

This collaboration will continue to deliver projects that cross tenure at Middle Head and Georges Head.

Joint planning day

The Harbour Trust and NPWS held a joint planning information day on 22 May 2016. With presentations from both organisations, the planning day gave the local community an opportunity ask questions and provide feedback.

Community members were invited to complete a feedback form by 21 June 2016. Over 800 survey forms have been received. Visit the Harbour Trust website to view a summary of the feedback received (PDF 1.22MB)
