National Heritage-listed areas

The National Heritage List has places with outstanding natural, Indigenous or historic heritage value to Australia.

There are 10 National Heritage places managed by the NPWS in NSW:

  • Kurnell Peninsula Headland
  • North Head
  • Warrumbungle National Park
  • Royal National Park and Garawarra State Conservation Area
  • Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Lion, Long and Spectacle Island Nature Reserves
  • Gondwana Rainforests of Australia (World Heritage Area)
  • Willandra Lakes Region (World Heritage Area)
  • Greater Blue Mountains (World Heritage Area)
  • Lord Howe Island Group (World Heritage Area)
  • Old Great North Road (World Heritage Area)
