National Heritage-listed areas
The National Heritage List has places with outstanding natural, Indigenous or historic heritage value to Australia.
There are 10 National Heritage places managed by the NPWS in NSW:
- Kurnell Peninsula Headland
- North Head
- Warrumbungle National Park
- Royal National Park and Garawarra State Conservation Area
- Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Lion, Long and Spectacle Island Nature Reserves
- Gondwana Rainforests of Australia (World Heritage Area)
- Willandra Lakes Region (World Heritage Area)
- Greater Blue Mountains (World Heritage Area)
- Lord Howe Island Group (World Heritage Area)
- Old Great North Road (World Heritage Area)
