National Heritage-listed areas
The National Heritage List are places with outstanding natural, Indigenous or historic heritage value to Australia.
There are ten National Heritage places managed by the NPWS in NSW:
- Kurnell Peninsula
- North Head Quarantine Station, Sydney Harbour National Park
- Warrumbungle National Park
- Royal National Park and Garawarra State Conservational Area
- Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and Lion Island, Long Island and Spectacle Island Nature Reserves
- Gondwana Rainforests of NSW
- Willandra Lakes Region
- Greater Blue Mountains Area
- Lord Howe Island Group
- Old Great North Road Precinct, Dharug National Park
