National Heritage-listed areas

The National Heritage List are places with outstanding natural, Indigenous or historic heritage value to Australia.

There are ten National Heritage places managed by the NPWS in NSW:

  • Kurnell Peninsula
  • North Head Quarantine Station, Sydney Harbour National Park
  • Warrumbungle National Park
  • Royal National Park and Garawarra State Conservational Area
  • Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and Lion Island, Long Island and Spectacle Island Nature Reserves
  • Gondwana Rainforests of NSW
  • Willandra Lakes Region
  • Greater Blue Mountains Area
  • Lord Howe Island Group
  • Old Great North Road Precinct, Dharug National Park
