Stakeholder registration for the revision of plans of management for Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd and Wollemi National Parks
Plans of management are legal documents created under the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974. They are a key tool in the management of NSW national parks and reserves, covering a range of issues including fire, pest animals, weeds, threatened species, Aboriginal and historic heritage, recreation and education.
Plans of management for Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd and Wollemi National Parks, part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, are currently being re-written. An opportunity exists for stakeholders to register their interest in being included in the planning process.
Who are stakeholders?
Stakeholders are any individuals or groups with an interest in an activity or outcome associated with the revision of plans of management for these three national parks.
What does registering mean?
By becoming a 'registered stakeholder' with the Blue Mountains Region of the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, part of the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC), you provide us with your/your group or organisation's contact details and we will undertake to engage with you during the planning process for these three reserves.
As part of our registration, you can choose your level of involvement and you can nominate which national park/s you are interested in.
