The NSW Government's ceiling insulation rebate finished, as scheduled on 30 June 2009.

The Australian Government's Energy Efficiency Package is providing households with rebates for either ceiling insulation or solar hot water systems. For more information call the Energy Efficient Homes Package Line on 1800 808 571.

You can only apply for a NSW ceiling insulation rebate if:

• your ceiling insulation was purchased and installed between 1 October 2007 and 30 June 2009
• DECCW received the application no later than 5pm, 30 September 2009

When will I get the rebate?

If you have submitted your application to DECCW, it is currently taking around 90 days for you to receive your rebate cheque, from the time we receive your completed application form and receipt(s).  We are working to reduce this timeframe.
