Teachers' kit - Rookery roundabout
This revised and updated kit introduces Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve, a sacred site to the Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal people of the Coffs Harbour area. They call it Giidany Miirlarl, (pronounced Ghee-dayn Meeral), meaning 'moon sacred place'. It is the only wedge-tailed shearwater rookery site in New South Wales connected to the mainland.

The kit contains a full colour teacher resource booklet with worksheets, beautifully illustrated life cycle flip cards, lesson plans, excursion outlines and additional supporting resources.
