The Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) is Australia's peak body that specialises in representing industry, business and councils across Australia on environment and energy matters that will impact on our member organisations and their business operations.

AEBN provides up-to-date information on environmental and energy policies and reviews, industry obligations, environmental reporting requirements, government initiatives, funding and assistance programs by delivering forums and events to inform members and stakeholders.

The Australasian Industrial Ecology Network (AIEN) is a Working Group of the Waste Management Association of Australia. The AIEN was formed in 2009 to promote the development of industrial ecology in Australia, particularly the practice of industrial symbiosis, using the wastes or by-products of one industry as inputs in another, to improve the economic and environmental performance of business.

The Australian Water Association is Australia's leading membership association for water professionals and organisations. AWA is independent and not for profit. It plays an essential role in supporting the Australian water sector in delivering effective and sustainable water management practices.

Our mission is to foster knowledge, understanding and advancement in sustainable water management - its science, practice and policy - through advocacy, collaboration and professional development.

The Clean Energy Council is the peak body for Australia’s clean energy industry, working with a range of solar, wind, energy efficiency, energy storage, bioenergy, hydro, cogeneration, geothermal and marine energy businesses, along with more than 4500 solar installers.

We are committed to accelerating the transformation of Australia’s energy system to one that is smarter, cleaner and more consumer-focused.

The Energy Efficiency Council is the peak body for energy efficiency, demand-management and cogeneration, and has played a critical role in moving energy efficiency to the centre of Australia's energy debate.

The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) is the nation’s authority on sustainable buildings and communities. The GBCA’s mission is to accelerate the transformation of Australia’s built environment into one that is healthy, liveable, productive, resilient and sustainable.

The GBCA works with industry and government to encourage policies and programs that support its mission. The Council educates thousands of people each year on how to design and deliver sustainable outcomes for Australia’s buildings and communities. And it operates Australia’s only national, voluntary, holistic rating system for sustainable buildings and communities – Green Star.

The Local Community Services Association (LCSA) is the peak body for Neighbourhood Centres in NSW. Formed in 1974, LCSA supports its members' focus on social inclusion and all facets of community development through resources, networking and advocacy.

Local Government NSW (LGNSW) is the peak body for councils in NSW, representing all 152 NSW general-purpose councils, the special-purpose county councils and the NSW Aboriginal Land Council.

LGNSW is a credible, professional organisation that represents the views of councils to NSW and Australian Governments; provides industrial relations and specialist services to councils; and promotes NSW councils to the community. LGNSW facilitates the development of an effective community-based system of Local Government in NSW.

NSW Small Business Commissioner The Office of the NSW Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) supports the contribution of small businesses to the NSW economy by providing programs and services tailored to their needs, and by being a recognised, respected and independent voice for small business.

Headed by NSW Small Business Commissioner, Robyn Hobbs OAM, the OSBC supports NSW small businesses in three key ways – by delivering quality, affordable advice through its Small Biz Connect program; by providing dispute resolution and mediation services; and by speaking up for small business within Government.

Through its members, SBA promotes cross sector collaboration and contributes to national and global efforts to advance the field of corporate social responsibility, and uses its thought leadership and advocacy to generate constructive solutions and take responsible action.

WCRA logo

The Waste Contractors and Recyclers Association of NSW (WCRA) is a registered industrial body of employers that addresses business issues relating to the waste and recycling industry on behalf of its constituent members. WCRA is registered with both the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW and Fair Work Australia and provides members with advice on, and support regarding, a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters.

Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA) is the national association for waste and resource recovery professionals and organisations in Australia. WMA has a growing and broad-based membership, representing the diversity and depth of the industry.

WMAA has over 2,500 members who represent large and small business, consultancies, local, state and Federal government agencies, and other individuals. WMAA's main role is to facilitate sustainable waste and resource management practices across Australia via leadership, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
