The ss Acme sank at Walsh Bay, Sydney Harbour, on the 6th of June 1923 but was subsequently refloated and dismantled the following year.  The 14.8 metre iron screw steamer was built by Foster and Minty at Balmain, Sydney Harbour, in 1892, and at the time of the incident was owned by Catherine Daley.
