Bonnie Dundee

On the 10 of March 1879 the 193-ton steamer Bonnie Dundee collided with the Barrabool offshore at Swansea Heads, Newcastle. Five of the seventeen passengers on board the vessel at the time died. Built in Dundee, Scotland, in 1877 the 39.7-metre long iron screw steamer was registered in Sydney, and used for transport of general cargo.
