History

The Bramble was on its voyage from Richmond River to Sydney when it was wrecked about 6 miles south of Long Point, between Richmond and Clarence, on 28 September 1840 .  At least 2 deaths were registered.

The Bramble was a wooden schooner built in Moruya in New South Wales and was used for the transport of cargo along the coast. It was registered as carrying cedar timber. At 56 rgoss tons, the vessel was 17.6m in length.
