The 20 ton wooden vessel William Cossar, sometimes referred to in the press as ‘The Cossar’, was thrown by the sea onto Sow and Pigs Shoal in Sydney Harbour in February 1825, possibly on the 14th.  Carrying a crew of 7 at the time, there were no casualties.
