History

The Minnie Lowe was wrecked off Port Macquarie in a gale on the27/09/1880. Six people lost their lives.  The owner at the time was John H. Short.

The Minnie Lowe was a 75-ton carvel built wooden schooner built at Cape Hawke in 1877.  The vessel had a length of 24.8 metres and a beam of 5.8 metres.
