Watson’s Tree Frog Litoria watsoni Mahony, Moses, Mahony, Lemckert & Donnellan 2020 has been listed as an endangered species.
In New South Wales this species is currently known to occur from Budderoo National Park in the Illawarra region of NSW, along the eastern fall of the Great Dividing Range.

The NSW Threatened Species Scientific Committee assesses which species are eligible for listing as threatened species.
