This Who Cares about the Environment? survey report shows that a large majority of the NSW community in 2000 were concerned ‘a fair amount’ or ‘a great deal’ about environmental problems. However, despite continued recognition by the public that they should behave in an environmentally friendly manner, the environment was perceived as a less immediate priority for government attention than education and health.
