Air quality during summer 2021–22 in the Namoi/North West Slopes region was always good and all stations met national benchmarks on 100% of days. Due to wetter conditions, cooler temperatures, improved ground cover and reduced dust activity, air quality during summer 2021–22 was still better than the rest of 2021, including summer 2020–21.
