Air quality during winter 2022 in the Namoi/North West Slopes region was mostly good with all stations except Gunnedah meeting national benchmarks on 100% of days. Dust activity was limited due to slightly wetter than average conditions, cooler temperatures, light-moderate winds, and improved ground cover. Prevailing climate conditions sustained good air quality across the region.
