Mount Kaputar National Park Draft Amendment to the Plan of Management
Summit Road sealing and Barraba Track access
Changes are proposed to the Mount Kaputar National Park Plan of Management to enable sealing of Summit Road, access to Barraba Track and other changes to bring the plan up to date.

- Department of Planning, Industry and Environment
There are two main reasons for amending the current plan of management. The first enables bitumen sealing of the currently unsealed Summit Road, and the other enables changes to four-wheel-drive access provisions on a section of the Barraba Track.
A number of minor updates to the plan also are proposed in response to changes that have occurred since the plan’s adoption in 2006.
This amendment should be read in conjunction with the Mount Kaputar National Park Plan of Management (2006).
