The results of the surveys were such that there were estimated to be 439,220 eastern grey kangaroos in the Glen Innes management zone, 446,700 in the Armidale management zone, and 260,650 in the Upper Hunter management zone. These population estimates equated to densities of 23.81 km2, 28.26 km2 and 18.61 km2, respectively, in the 3 management zones.
