The NSW Koala Strategy is a whole-of-government strategy based on the principles of action, ongoing monitoring and continuous learning. The advice of the Expert Advisory Panel, findings from research and monitoring, and ongoing input from implementation partners and the community continue to inform and guide the strategy's adaptive management approach. This ensures we maximise outcomes for koalas.

The final report outlines the progress in implementing the strategy during 2020–21 and summarises overall actions undertaken between 2018 and 2021.
