NSW Threatened Species Scientific Committee final determination
Gang-gang cockatoo Callocephalon fimbriatum (Grant, 1803) has been listed as an endangered species.
In New South Wales, this species is currently known to occur in south-eastern Australia, from as far north as Coffs Harbour to as far west as Mudgee, also being present in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area and Mid and Lower Central Coast.
