Towra Point is located approximately 16 kilometres south of the centre of Sydney,and is within the Sutherland Shire and the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Sydney South Region. It is situated on the Kurnell Peninsula and forms part of the southern shore of Botany Bay.
