Sea Acres Nature Reserve became a national park in 2016. The national park contains significant geological features and protects an outstanding remnant of the original native plant and animal communities once found along much of the mid-north coast of NSW.
Bago Bluff National Park is located about 10 kilometres south-west of Wauchope in the hinterland of the NSW mid north coast. The park was reserved in 1999 and covers an area of 4023 hectares.
Sea Acres Nature Reserve became a national park in 2016. This amendment provides for the full investigation and possible extension of a walking track in the park. The extension of this section of track within the nature reserve will provide for the coastal walking track from Town Beach to Lighthouse Beach to be completed.
Weddin Mountains National Park is approximately 20 kilometres south-west of Grenfell in the Central West of NSW. The national park was reserved in 1971 and is 8361 hectares in area, incorporating virtually the entire Weddin Range.
Coorabakh National Park is located about 22 kilometres north of Taree in the hinterland of the NSW mid north coast. The park was reserved in 1999 and covers an area of 1840 hectares.
Popran National Park covers 3,970 hectares and is located north of the Hawkesbury River, some 50 kilometres north of the centre of Sydney and 25 kilometres southwest of Gosford.
Bagul Waajaarr, Deer Vale and Muldiva Nature Reserves occur in close proximity to each other, north-west of the town of Dorrigo on the Dorrigo Plateau. Muldiva Nature Reserve was reserved in 1981 and covers an area of 10 hectares. Deer Vale Nature Reserve was reserved in 1985 and covers an area of 181 hectares. Bagul Waajaarr Nature Reserve was reserved in 1999 and is in two areas totalling 520 hectares.
